The early years of this trucks history are a little vague. It is believed to have been manufactured in 1974 and exported from new for use in Saudi Arabia.
A full restoration was then undertaken in the early ‘90s before being shipped to Ireland where it was registered for use.
The truck was then shipped to the UK some time around the year 2000 and a second restoration was started. Unfortunately the owner at this time was unable to finish the project, giving the current owner the opportunity to purchase the vehicle.
The latest restoration was completed in 2004 and the vehicle registered for use on the UK roads for the first time.
There are a number of changes from the original spec, including the addition of a Stage 1 tuning kit and various period modifications such as the refurbished Cosmic alloy wheels, the group 2 arches and the BL steering wheel.
